The short version
- No account, no sign-up — you can play completely anonymously.
- We collect only anonymous crash reports and usage statistics to fix bugs and improve the game.
- We never collect your name, email, contacts, photos, or precise location.
- We do not track you across other apps or websites, and we use no advertising identifier (IDFA).
- You can turn crash reports and usage analytics off at any time in Settings → Privacy.
Who we are
Football Master Quiz (“the app”, “we”, “us”) is a football trivia game published by LCQD for iOS. This policy explains what limited, anonymous information the app processes, why, and the controls you have. Gameplay runs entirely on your device — there is no user account and no login.
Information we collect
The app works offline and stores your progress on your device. The only data that leaves your device is anonymous diagnostic information, handled by Google’s Firebase platform:
- Crash diagnostics (Firebase Crashlytics). If the app crashes, we receive a technical report — the type of error, the line of code involved, the device model, and the operating-system version — so we can fix it. These reports contain no personal information.
- Usage analytics (Firebase Analytics). Anonymous, aggregated statistics about how the game is used — for example, a quiz being started or finished, a streak reached, or a hint (“joker”) used — together with a randomly generated, app-specific identifier and your in-app language. This helps us understand which features matter and improve the game.
What we never collect:
How we use this information
- To detect, diagnose, and fix crashes and bugs.
- To understand which features are used so we can improve gameplay and content.
- To measure overall, aggregate trends such as retention and session length.
We do not sell your data, and we do not use it to build advertising profiles or to identify you personally.
Service providers
We rely on Google’s Firebase (Crashlytics and Analytics) to process the anonymous diagnostics described above. Their handling of this data is governed by Google’s privacy and security terms:
Your choices & controls
You are always in control. Inside the app, open Settings → Privacy to:
- Turn Share Crash Reports on or off.
- Turn Share Usage Analytics on or off.
Turning a toggle off stops that collection immediately. The app remains fully playable either way.
Region-specific handling (EEA, UK & Switzerland)
If your device or App Store region is in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, usage analytics is switched off by default — no analytics events are collected unless you choose to enable it in Settings. Crash diagnostics may still be processed on the basis of our legitimate interest in keeping the app stable and secure, and you can disable it at any time in Settings.
Data retention
Anonymous crash and analytics data is retained by Firebase for a limited period in line with Google’s standard retention settings and then deleted or aggregated. Because the data is not tied to your identity, we cannot link it back to a specific person.
Children’s privacy
The app is suitable for a general audience and does not knowingly collect personal information from children. We collect no names, contact details, or other identifying information from any user, regardless of age.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the app evolves. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Significant changes will be reflected here before they take effect.
